At Pulsar Measurement we understand how important it is to have your instrumentation installed quickly and efficiently, to ensure the smooth running of your operations. Sludge interface applications greatly benefit from being commissioned by Pulsar Measurement engineers. Although applications are similar according to the industry and process, each will have its own characteristics depending on the process condition at that location.

Depending on the design of the settlement vessel, Sludge Finder 2 can be used in most applications, including:

• Secondary settlement tanks

• Humus tanks
• Sequencing batch reactors (SBRs)
• Raw water clarifiers

Pulsar Measurement engineers can fine-tune the system response and blanket detection algorithms to suit the application characteristic and check the desired system outputs whether wired or through the optional radio re-transmission system. Pollution events can be minimised by monitoring the application characteristics and using this data to set high floc detection alarms.
