The commissioning checklist for level solutions includes the following:

Information Gathering

• Material being measured
• Application/Vessel dimensions
• Expected maximum/fill empty rate
• Required outputs
• Display requirements
• Maximum and minimum level
• Output mode/Range/Fault indication
• Process information/phases/turbulence/foam/cleaning/temperatures

Inspection of Installation

• Electrical connections
• Junction boxes
• Visual check for cable damage
• Sensor location and suitability

Sensor Mounting Check

• Location
• Aiming
• Fastening

Parameter Setup

• Application parameters
• Damping
• Trim mA loop to input device if high accuracy is required

Observe Operation

• Check and record echo traces throughout the complete process cycle where practicable

Service Parameter Adjustment

• Adjust measurement reliability parameters to suit any potential concerns

Finalize Commissioning

• Save diagnostic data and parameter settings
• Take photos of the installation (with authorisation)
• Generate commissioning report where requested including copies of instrument settings as commissioned including any observations and recommendations.
