When combined with the Ultra 4 Controller, the dB3 with double sun shields has achieved MCERTS Class 1 Certification with 0.136% combined accuracy. This means that the pair have been independently tested and performed well under rigorous conditions. Utilities across the globe can now be confident that their flow measurement is of the highest possible accuracy by using MCERTS certified equipment.
The dB3 with double sun shields is specifically designed for open channel flow applications. One of the critical conditions of ultrasonic measurement is the measurement distance, therefore, its short measurement range of 3 m (9ft) and maximized accuracy at zero blanking meet this requirement. The double sun shields of the dB3 help to protect the transducer from solar radiation and combats ambient temperature changes that could ultimately affect the flow and level readings.
To achieve the MCERTS Class 1 Certification, the dB3 with double sun shields must be combined with the Ultra 4 controller from Pulsar Measurement. If you’d like to discuss your application requirements, please don’t hesitate to contact one of our friendly team who will be happy to help.
