Battery Backup Module
The Ultimate battery backup module is designed to allow continuous use of an Ultimate controller and its essential peripherals in the event of power outages or mains power failure. The length of this battery backup depends on what is connected to the 24V backed up terminals, and the size of the battery.
Pheripherals such as the FlowPulse or Power Monitor should be powered from the AUX Output as they are redundant in a power cut. Items such as the Ultimate should be connected to the 24VDC to Ultimate terminals so that conditions can be monitored and reported in the event of any mains failure.
