Since 1986 we have developed, manufactured and marketed industrial flow and level monitoring instruments including ultrasonic level transmitters, clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters, and open channel flow meters.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Commercial Finance Manager will provide commercial finance leadership and analysis to support the Pulsar Measurement Senior Management team. Partnering with departments across the business this role will aid decision-making and support the monthly preparation of financial results for TASI Measurement.
Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Accountable for timely, accurate reporting and analysis to support senior strategic decision-making, including comparisons to historical, budget and forecast performance.
· Develop and maintain automated reports to support decision-making by the Senior Management team.
· Manage daily and monthly reporting, submit outputs to relevant stakeholders, and provide ad hoc analysis and technical support as required.
· Lead the end-to-end forecasting and budgeting process, partnering with budget holders across the business.
· Responsible for preparation of monthly reporting and analysis for Regional Sales Managers to track performance against targets for bonus purposes.
· Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner, providing insight, analysis and KPI tracking to help shape and deliver strategy.
· Own margin and cost management by analysing sales and margins (price/volume/mix) and identifying initiatives for cost reduction and margin enhancement.
· Accountable for the preparation of monthly variance analysis against budget and forecast within required timelines.
· Support the monthly preparation of financial results for all Pulsar Measurement sites for review by the Finance Director, including submission via OneStream.
· Support improvements to financial controls, systems and practices to align with parent company requirements (Berwind).
· Provide information to internal and external auditors in a timely manner.
· Own key finance master data and controls within the Epicor ERP system (e.g., chart of accounts, nominal codes, part classes).
· Complete other ad hoc duties as required by the department.
Position Requirements:
Experience & Skills
· Strong working knowledge of Epicor, or a comparable ERP system.
· Demonstrated experience producing reports for complex organisations of varying sizes, with a solid understanding of both UK GAAP and US GAAP reporting requirements.
· Excellent technical and analytical problem‑solving capability.
· Strong proficiency in reporting and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI), with the ability to translate data into clear, meaningful insights.
· Effective workload management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
· Proven willingness and capability to mentor, coach, and support the development of colleagues within the Pulsar Measurement team.

Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Competence, Education & Training
· Qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant experience working across a range of entity types.
· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook and SharePoint, with advanced Excel capability.
Travel:
Travel will be required to the other Pulsar Measurement locations. This will include global travel.
